We combine rigorous analysis with practical advice to help programmes and funders improve the impact of aid. Our vision is that everyone has confidence aid resources are spent wisely and not wasted.
ProjectsLAMP is a not-for-profit organisation. We operate as a collective and our associate consultants work together remotely and in-person. Our combined experience creates a strong team with expertise across disciplines, countries and sectors – including health, development and education.
LAMP was founded in 2014 by Jennifer Armitage. Drawing on her experience evaluating the impact of development assistance (ODA) and performance improvement, LAMP was established to support a broader range of organisations and enhance overseas aid programmes, whilst building upon national expertise where projects are delivered.
Cost-effectiveness analysis compared the programme's costs in four countries and any positive impacts identified through the impact evaluation.
LAMP provided input to the evaluation of a development impact bonds programme. Our work developed learning on the assessment of value for money for the relatively new aid financing model.
LAMP led the midterm evaluation and MEL review for Developing Excellence in Leadership, Training and Science (DELTAS II).
Whether you’re an organisation wanting to improve your impact, a consultant with skills and expertise to share, or if you just want to find out more about our work, we’d love to hear from you.
