Aduragbemi is a health policy and health economics researcher at LSE Health, London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Reproductive Health Research and Innovation, Nigeria. His specific areas of research interest are cost-effectiveness and quality of maternal and reproductive health care in low- and middle-income countries.
Aduragbemi obtained his degree in medicine and surgery from Lagos State University, Nigeria and completed his postgraduate training as part of the double degree-awarding Erasmus Mundus Europubhealth programme. Through this progrmame, heobtained d his MPH (with distinction) from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, and a second Masters Health policy and Programme Management from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique, France. Aduragbemi subsequently completed his PhD at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, during which he pioneered the application of the social return on investment methodology to assess the value for money of a maternal health intervention in Kenya.
