VFM support to Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Programme Phase II

Location Multi-country

The Project

Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Programme Phase II (TDDAP2) is a £96m flagship UK Government initiative aimed at strengthening health security across Africa (2023-2028). We are part of the monitoring, evaluation and learning component of this multi-component programme designed to support community, national and regional systems to better prevent, detect and respond to infectious disease outbreaks. Expected highlights include:

  • Supporting implementing partners in 5 countries Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Uganda to embed VFM principles into programme delivery and decision making.
  • Co-designing an integrated VFM framework which aligns to the overall programme TOC, strengthening the interlinkages between the programmes three core components to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach
  • Providing strategic and practical insights that improve the programme’s economy, efficiency, effectiveness, equity and sustainability.

Impact

  • VFM support to a multi-country programme tackling deadly diseases.
