VFM support to the What Works Hub in Global Education

Location Multi-country

The Project

What Works Hub for Global Education (WWGE), funded by FCDO, is a £55 million investment over 8 years, which includes strategic partnerships managed directly by FCDO and a What Works Hub (WWH). The WWH element of WWGE is a £30 million programme implemented by a consortium of partners led by Oxford University Blavatnik School of Government (BSG). LAMP has worked with Palladium on the project set-up phase and ongoing support to implement the VFM framework.  This has involved  reviewing the business case indicators and developing a VFM framework. The framework has been designed to track, improve and report performance against VFM measures that are relevant, meaningful and feasible. Since setting up the framework LAMP continues to support the team throughout the implementation of the framework.

Impact

  • Developing an integrated VFM framework which utilises existing programme management and reporting.
  • Selecting effectiveness indicators which align with the Theory of Change and Logframe.
  • Including an indicator on Environment.
